8 Days Gujarat Rajasthan Desert Tour

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01: Bhuj:
You will be picked up from Bhuj Airport / Railway Station & transferred to the hotel. After relaxing we start the sightseeing tour of Bhuj covering the majestic Prag Mahal, Aina Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), Hamirsar Lake, Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Kutch Museum, Ram Kund Stepwell, the historic royal cenotaphs at Chhatardi, & the Bhartiya Sanskruti Darshan Museum. In the evening we explore the vibrant Bhuj Night Market, which comes alive with colorful stalls selling a variety of authentic Kutchi handicrafts, textiles, and local products. Overnight at Bhuj.

Day 02: Hodka:
After breakfast we check out from the hotel & drive to Hodka village, known for its rich cultural heritage and traditional handicrafts. Upon arrival check into your traditional mud hut accommodation (Bhunga) and experience the rural charm of the region. Later we take a day trip to the Banni and Pachcham regions, followed by a visit to the edge of the Great Rann of Kutch. We visit Dhordo village, Bhirandiyara village, Ludiya village, Khavda village, Kalo Dungar (Black Hill) for panoramic views, and the Dattatray Temple. In the evening we enjoy a beautiful, mesmerizing sunset at the vast White Rann. Overnight at Hodka.

Day 03: Mount Abu:
After an early breakfast we check out from the resort and embark on a scenic drive from Kutch to Mount Abu, transitioning from the arid desert plains to the lush Aravalli hills. Arrive in Mount Abu by late afternoon. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening we visit the famous Sunset Point to enjoy the breathtaking views and watch the sunset over the hills. Overnight at Mount Abu.

Day 04: Jodhpur:
After breakfast we embark on a half day sightseeing tour of Mount Abu, visiting the world-famous Dilwara Jain Temples, renowned for their flawless marble architecture and intricate carvings. Later we take a peaceful stroll by the serene Nakki Lake. After the sightseeing, we check out and proceed towards Jodhpur, the magnificent Blue City. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and relax after your journey. Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 05: Jodhpur:
After breakfast we embark on a full day city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. We start by visiting the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most magnificent forts in India, offering spectacular views of the blue city below. Next, we visit Jaswant Thada, a beautifully carved white marble cenotaph known as the Taj Mahal of Marwar. Later we explore the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace and its fascinating museum. In the evening we explore the vibrant local markets around the historic Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar). Overnight at Jodhpur.

Day 06: Jaisalmer:
After breakfast we check out from the hotel & leave Jodhpur for Jaisalmer, the Golden City. En route, we visit Osian to explore its ancient, intricately carved Hindu and Jain temples. We also make a halt at Kheechan village, famous for the migratory Demoiselle Cranes that flock there in large numbers. Upon arrival at Jaisalmer, check in at the hotel. During sunset, we visit the serene Gadisar Lake and the beautifully carved Vyas Chhatri. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 07: Thar Desert, Jaisalmer:
After breakfast we embark on a half day city sightseeing tour exploring the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila), one of the very few “living forts” in the world. We also visit the city’s spectacular sandstone mansions, including Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli. In the afternoon we drive towards the Thar Desert. Check in at the desert camp. As evening approaches, enjoy a thrilling camel ride over the golden sand dunes and witness a breathtaking desert sunset. Later, experience a traditional Rajasthani cultural program with folk music and dance around a campfire. Stay at Desert Camp.

Day 08: Jaisalmer / Jodhpur:
After breakfast we check out from the desert camp. As per your scheduled time of departure, you will be transferred to either Jaisalmer Airport / Railway Station or Jodhpur Airport for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of your desert adventure. (The Tour Ends)
